Driveway Pressure Cleaning and Sealing 

Stage 1 - The Pressure Clean

Like all forms of painting and coatings, the secret is in the preparation with a high quality driveway pressure cleaning to get it looking it's best before the sealer is applied.

So we will give the driveway a hot water high pressure clean removing any tough stains before hand using quality commercial grade pressure cleaning equipment to bring it back to a very high standard.

We can remove all types of stains from the driveway such as dirt, mould, lichen, oils, grease, rust etc 

 

Stage 2 - The Driveway Sealing

Firstly we discuss with you what the most appropriate sealer will be for you. This depends on whether you are looking to increase your street appeal if you're selling or getting a valuation done on your home and really want it to set the front of the house off. Otherwise  you may just want to keep it looking it's best for the next few years and stop stains from getting through to the porous concrete.

So the next day after the concrete driveway has thoroughly dried out, and after checking the BOM radar, we set about getting the first clear coat of driveway sealer down.

For the final coat of driveway sealing, we come back 24 hours later to apply it.

We can apply some sealers (penetrating sealers) all in one day, but if you want a deep glossy wet look to really make the front of your house stand out, then we have to use a topical sealer with several coats applied over a few days.

There are a number of finishes available which we can discuss with you, depending on the desired look you're seeking.

Like everything in life, you get what you pay for. With that in mind we have purchased some of the best professional pressure cleaning equipment from the leaders in high pressure cleaning technology: the USA.

Unfortunately, not all industrial units are created equally...which is why we run truck mounted industrial sized Honda & Vanguard Big Block powered pressure units on our truck. We attach upto 200 meters of hose to our units which allows us access to those hard to reach areas found in multi-level underground car parks, on rooftops and around larger complexes. 

​

We run our machines at 3000 - 4000 PSI in order to remove the more stubborn stains.

​

We use various attachments for extreme problem areas combined with high water volume in order to achieve an extremely efficient clean. We've found that any more than 4000 PSI increases the risk of surface damage. 

​

Cleaning is not just about pressure, however. To obtain the best and most efficient clean possible it is key to move large volumes of water at high pressure using heated water. Heated water combined with our high pressured specialised machines and attachments result in the most thorough clean possible. The benefits of cleaning with hot water are nothing new, dishwashers have been using hot water for years!

​

Our latest machine is a Big Block powered unit with a diesel burner which heats the water to around 100 degrees Celsius. The heat is extremely effective in achieving a deep clean and degreasing.

 

We also use a large array of other specialised attachments including various sized rotary cleaners for flat surfaces or areas that require overspray to be kept to a minimum. The rotary surface cleaner that we use removes the infamous zebra striping effect that is often left on driveways by the more underpowered high pressure cleaning units.
