We recently were approached to supply a roof cleaning quote for bringing this tired old terracotta roof back to life here in Brisbane.
So after we explained that we hold a current "Working at Heights" License and use full rope and harness safety equipment, we were able to put the clients mind at ease. As this client was fully aware, if a contractor is aloud permission to get on a home owners roof to do work, then technically the home owner can be held liable in the event of an accident.
Once the safety was all set up we started the clean with Hot water, which helps break the bond that the mould and lichen have with the roof, then the pressure simply removes it.
When it comes to cleaning the ridge capping and valleys, we use an adjustable wand to lower the pressure to reduce the chance of damage or water ingress on these sensative areas.
As usual, the results speak for themselves and the client was extremely happy with the end result!
